This early Federal house sits serenely on a high stone foundation overlooking the main street of Athens, one of the sweetest riverfront villages in our area.

 Ready for restoration, this exquisite example of American vernacular architecture retains its gorgeous staircase and finely carved banister, still intact after two hundred years. The high stone foundation has been meticulously restored using appropriate lime-mortar techniques.

Other original details include multiple fireplaces and beautiful floors throughout this post-and-beam structure, all built to last another two-hundred years.
